We won Honorable Mention for the Made in NY Award at the Brooklyn Web Fest back in October.
In other news...
I'm currently in post production for web series number two, Brokers: a comedy about the seedy underbelly of the NYC apartment rental industry, in which I play grumpy Russian broker, Olga.
I've recorded a new track, which you can find on my "Audio" page: "She Used to be Mine." One of my favorite tunes from the musical Waitress.
In January I'll be headed back to NYU/Steinhardt to dialect coach their production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood.

It's been a while! The last few months have been full of adventures:
In January and February I was on the set of Drunk Parents, working as Salma Hayek's accent reduction coach. Salma is a total bad-ass, and she was a blast to work with. I coached her on the finer points of pronouncing poetic phrases like "camel toe."
"Precious Cargo" was released this past summer! We've gotten a great response. In fact, we just found out that our show is an official selection of the 2016 Brooklyn Web Fest!
In July I shot the short film "The Second Province," in which I played a motel-living, smoking, drinking wearer of very short shorts.
I'm dialect coaching NYU/Steinhardt's production of "The Secret Garden." It's a beautiful production with super talented actors.
Stay tuned, friends!
The "Precious Cargo" Trailer is here!
"Precious Cargo" is coming to your computer screens on June 13th! Here's our trailer. Check it!
Post-production for "Precious Cargo" is underway!
Hello! It's happening, folks. We have received rough cuts of the entire first season of "Precious Cargo" from our talented editor, Nathan Allen...and it's looking good! Our composer, Adam Lindquist, has been working on some fabulous scoring. It's all coming together! So now, in order to fund post-production, we have launched our second Indiegogo campaign. If you'd like to check it out - maybe even throw in a buck or two! - you can find it here.
A Super Busy Summer.
Hey there! The summer of 2015 was bananas, you guys. In July we shot the entire first season of "Precious Cargo" with forty actors and twenty crew members in eight different locations in Manhattan, Queens, and Quogue. We have begun planning for post-production, and hope to have the show ready for your viewing pleasure this winter!
Right smack in the middle of shooting "Precious Cargo," I shot an industrial for Cohn Creative Group, in which I played Wendy Goldberg: personal branding strategist to Bigfoot himself. Bigfoot's costume came with its own wrangler. It was impressive.
At the end of July, it was off to Vermont for a whirlwind week of rehearsing for CYMBELINE with The Here & Now! Talya Klein has created quite a company. Once a year, she produces and directs a sight-specific production of a Shakespeare play at the beautiful Crapolla Farms in South Windham, Vermont. For one week we rehearsed the play (a roving production that used every part of the farm as its set) harvested fruit and vegetables for our meals, and built sets and costumes. We had one performance on August 1st. The final scene of the play took place in the pond. Yes. IN it. Swimming Shakespeare. It was a blast to work with a kick-ass cast and crew of generous, hilarious, smart, talented folks (including my hubs Dano Madden), and I'm looking forward to next summer!
Back in New York, I went right into rehearsals for Lia Romeo's play CRIMINAL INTENT, part of The Tank's Rule of 7X7 series. I played a woman held at gunpoint by her ex-boyfriend. It was a comedy! It was a blast, as always, to work on one of Lia's plays...and I got to perform on my birthday! Cool!
So, here we are, at the end of August. I'm gearing up for audition season by singing my face off for a bunch of casting directors in The Growing Studio's Musical Theatre Casting Director Workshop. In fact, I have class tonight, so I'd better get ready. Toodles!
"Precious Cargo" Indiegogo Campaign has launched!
I'm very proud to announce that my brand-spanking new web series, "Precious Cargo," will go into production in July of 2015. Allow us to explain ourselves:
We've just launched our crowd-funding campaign, and we can use all the help we can get! Check it out here.
